Rimasta a bocca asciutta ai recenti Mtv Europe Music Awards (dove invece ha trionfato Lady Gaga) Adele in qualche modo si è rifatta conquistando il premio Best pop video per Rolling in the deep alla quarta edizione degli UK Music Video Awards. La giovanissima cantante britannica, operata pochi giorni fa alle corde vocali, ha battuto Bruno Mars in lizza con il video di Lazy song, Jessie J in corsa con Do it like a dude, Kylie Minogue con Get outta my way, Mark Ronson feat. Boy George con Somebody to love me e Scissor Sisters con Invisible light. Dopo il salto tutti i vincitori degli UK Music Video Awards 2011.

I Depeche Mode si sono aggiudicati il riconoscimento Best alternative video per il remix di Personal Jesus, mentre il premio Video of the Year è stato assegnato alla Manchester Orchestra per Simple math, brano con cui hanno vinto anche il Best international indie/rock video. Jay-Z e Kanye West si sono portati a casa il Best international urban video per Otis, mentre ai Duck Sauce è andato il Best international dance video per Barbra Streisand.
